Spring season field trips No. 3 - Boletus Urbanus and the launch of RMRI at STATION - Saturday 24th April

Urban field trip in Bristol city centre and Redcliffe area.
Participants: 11 - 4 male, 7 female (including 1 child and a pink horse)

Results: 1/4 lb of Agaricus hortensis from Quicksave, Queen Charlotte St.; Selection of fungi in oil from the Olive Company, including the possibly wild Suillus grevillei; An Introduction to Fungi by John Webster, 2nd edition 1980; Pack of The Famous Mushrooms playing cards; A reading from Silence by John Cage; Dried Black mushrooms, Ball Mushrooms, Long mushrooms, Palm Fungi and Monkey mushroom from the St. Thomas St. Chinese supermarket; Peziza cerea in a disused industrial shed, St. Thomas St.; A pot of Thai Mushroom soup made at STATION launch of RMRI project.
