mundusloci.org represents the virtual regions of the multimedia mobile studio project by the artist Dominic Thomas. For six months between April and October 2003 the artist and his family travelled across Southern Europe in a VW camper that was their mobile home/studio. Dominic developed new works and projects, and made new connections between artists and locations across Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia and onward.

On the mundusloci web site you will find some web works developed on the road by Dominic and documentation of other works in progress. There is a route map of our journey across Europe, Gerry’s monthly reports and a photo library of family life on the road, plus Finn’s special nature pages. There is also a catalogue of the past work by Dominic and links to artists and organisations connected to the project.
